Terms of use

Welcome to the You Are Enough Facilitators’ Portal (the "Portal"). The Portal is managed by Protect Children (Suojellaan Lapsia ry.) and provides professionals with access to resources, materials, and community features. By using the Portal, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the Portal. The Terms of Use were last updated April 2, 2025.

 

1. Access and User Accounts

  • Access to the Portal is restricted to approved professionals. Users must first contact Protect Children to request access. Once approved, users will receive an access key required to register an account.

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.

  • Your login credentials are personal and must not be shared with others. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

  • Protect Children reserves the right to revoke access at any time and without prior notification, if a user is found to be in breach of these Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

By using the Portal, you agree to:

  • Use the Portal only for its intended purpose—to access resources and participate in professional discussions.

  • Engage respectfully in any community features, including commenting.

  • Refrain from posting, sharing, or distributing any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Portal or interfere with its functionality.

  • Not use the Portal for commercial, promotional, or advertising purposes.

  • Report any misconduct or inappropriate behaviour by other users to Protect Children.

3. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Personal data collected for access to the Portal is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • The Portal is hosted on Wix, which implements security measures to protect personal data (see Wix.co Privacy Policy). However, Protect Children cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Users must not share or misuse any personal data obtained through the Portal.

4. Intellectual Property

​

  • All content on the Portal, including text, images, and resources, is the property of Protect Children.

  • Users may access and use materials for personal and professional purposes related to the Portal's mission but may not copy, distribute, or modify content without prior permission.

5. Termination of Access

  • Protect Children reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Portal if a user violates these Terms.

  • Users may request to deactivate their account by contacting Protect Children.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

​

  • The Portal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Protect Children does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free use.

  • Protect Children is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Portal.

7. Modifications to These Terms

​

  • Protect Children reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the Portal after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
